Aastha Anup Chandra hasn't had the easiest start of her life, being brought up in the patriarchal society where women obliged to subservient to the male. All her life had been controlled. She was struck and trapped in the tight walls of the home. Stepping out to the world, and creating her identity is only a dream for her.

Consistent berating, criticism wears out her to the point she could not take it anymore.

Then came Mridul Raj, as shining armor, a soft guy like his name conveys. In him, Aastha saw a glimmer of the love she had craved all her life. With him, she thought she could finally breathe.

But not all armor shines in the light. And not every soft voice is safe.

As the cracks in Mridul's perfect façade begin to show, Aastha finds herself once again questioning the meaning of love and freedom. Caught in a storm between a stifling past and a dangerously uncertain present, she must fight to define her own identity.

To survive, she must rise.
To love, she must choose herself first.
