Seven years ago we all went through the flames; and the happiness of some of us since then is, we think, well worth the pain we endured. It is an added joy to Mina and to me that our boy's birthday is the same day as that on which Quincey Morris died. His mother holds, I know, the secret belief that some of our brave friend's spirit has passed into him. His bundle of names links all our little band of men together; but we call him Quincey.

In the summer of this year we made a journey to Transylvania, and went over the old ground which was, and is, to us so full of vivid and terrible memories. It was almost impossible to believe that the things which we had seen with our own eyes and heard with our own ears were living truths. Every trace of all that had been was blotted out. The castle stood as before, reared high above a waste of desolation.

When we got home we were talking of the old time-which we could all look back on without despair, for Godalming and Seward are both happily married. I took the papers from the safe where they had been ever since our return so long ago. We were struck with the fact, that in all the mass of material of which the
record is composed, there is hardly one authentic document: nothing but a mass of typewriting, except the later notebooks of Mina and Seward and myselt, and van Helsing' s memorandum. We could hardly ask any one, even did we wish to, to accept these as proofs of so wild a story. Van Helsing summed it all up as he said, with our boy on his knee:-

"We want no proofs; we ask no one to believe us! this boy will some day know what a brave and gallant woman his mother is. Already he knows her sweetness and loving care; later on he will understand how some men so loved her, that they did dare much for her sake."

My name is Gemma Gilbert, or as many like to call me, GG. Don't get me wrong, I love my name, but the only reason I'll end up hearing my full name, is because I'm in deep trouble. Like always, I cause trouble, and my parents decided to send me to a 'behavioral boot camp' in Michigan State. Everything was turning upside down for me when they did, but everything went worse after I received some terrible news. My parents had passed away. I thought instantly about my brother, and sister, I thought the worst. I was relieved to find out they were alright, but brought down when the camp did not let me leave until my year was completed. So I did, I waited, and waited, and when the year came 'round, I was ecstatic to finally be with Aunt JenJen, Jeremy, and Elena. I just wanted to be with them so badly, but I couldn't, no, someone had paid for an extra year, and they wouldn't allow me to call home. After five months of being there, I came up with a plan to escape, but with no money, or any funds, I had to stay the year. Fortunately for me, nobody paid for a third year, and I was free. In the year I was there, I was able to get a job within the camp, and got paid 5$ an hour, and I accumulated enough for a transport back home. Mystic Falls. Oh how I missed the sweet smell of flowers in spring, and chipper wood in the winter. When I got back I thought I'd be greeted by my family hugging me, and telling me how sorry they felt, or how much mom missed me, and loved all of us, but instead I was met by an unwelcoming sister, and unwelcoming setting. Just when I thought nothing else could go wrong, my whole world seemed to just take a dump on me, and make it worse... _________________ New story because sadly UB is near its ending. :( but, on the good side, I'll keep this one to its plot, and not drift off. :) So enjoy. I'll update the prologue and 1st chapter following this one. (All rights to Julie Plec, and staff.)

EDITING! Natalie Potter and her twin brother Harry Potter have been living with the Dursley's from the time they were infants until now. Hogwarts has been sending letters and the twins eventually get out of the hell hole. Upon her arrival, a boy catches Natalie's eye. Draco Malfoy. The story starts off in year one but after a few chapters, it jumps to year 3. ========================================== The hot tears were streaming down my face as I shook my head. I was suddenly met with a hard hand slapping me across the face. I brought my hand up to my lip and pulled it back to see blood. Slowly, I turned my head to look back up at him. I was starting to shake and I knew a panic attack was coming. I had had these in the past but this one felt to much worse. "Slate..." I started to breathe heavier. "I-I can't." My legs got weaker and the gave out as I fell to the floor. "STEP AWAY FROM HER!" A strong voice yelled to Slate. I couldn't tell who is was because I was having trouble breathing. I was crying, my lip was bleeding, I was in shock, and I was so confused. I heard some fighting and then there was silence. "Natalie!" Draco ran over to me and knelt down to help me. "D-Draco?" My eyes looked up at his. "It's okay just breathe. Look at me and just breathe. Your alright." His words calmed me in a weird way. "Everything is fine. I'm here now." ========================================== This story contains themes such as: -Trauma -Abuse -SA -Alcohol & substances -Smut DISCLAIMER: I do not own the Harry Potter characters and storyline of the movies/books. THE AMBY AWARDS 2022 WINNER (Best Series) Book One (Book Three of the trilogy is on the WATTYS 2022 SHORTLIST) Wattpad featured story. The Adept Pen 21 finalist. Samara, a young woman from London, visits Bran Castle in Romania during a Halloween night. Somehow, she's always felt drawn to the story of Vlad the Impaler, the historical character who allegedly inspired the writer, Bram Stoker, to write his Count Dracula. Annoyed by her noisy friends, she strolls behind her group when they enter the castle and thus gets approached by their tall dark and handsome guide. Samara can't fight the attraction she feels for him, even after he claims to be Vlad Dracul himself, obviously making fun of her...or? At the end of the tour, unable to resist her curiosity, she follows the guide through a dark corridor and time travels to another time, a late medieval world populated by very unusual vampires, where she had once belonged. The mysterious guide turns out to be her husband, none less than Vlad III, the Prince of Wallachia, the Impaler... Dracula. Samara's memories start to trickle back slowly, both good and bad. The man she loves so much that she feels overcome by her feelings for him is not exactly as he was when she left him before, when she... died. A lot of things have changed in her absence, in six hundred years. But she is changed too, having grown up in the 21st century this time around, she is not quite the same girl as when she lived in Vlad's castle, in the late medievals. Will the great love they feel for each other despite their long separation be strong enough to overcome all their differences? Will Samara and Vlad accept each other as they are now and fight for their love? Will they defend it in the dangerous world they live in, full of people, or better vampires, who would rather see them apart? In this place where nothing and no one is what they really seem to be at first sight? Cover: @WakeWriteWrath

"You have completely and utterly bewitched me, Lucia. Every time I look at you, I feel practically hypnotized." ☆✰⭐︎ Lucia Winters was raised in a pure-blood family with a storied history, expectations weigh heavily on her. Her father couldn't say no when she was invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a fifth year. She was deeply nervous about stepping into Hogwarts, not that she would ever admit it out loud. Lucia didn't grow up dreaming of the Great Hall, or getting sorted in front of hundreds of staring eyes. But with carefully composed nervousness there was excitement, she was burning with it. Lucia doesn't know yet what is to come, the power she can yield from her fingertips, a person who could guide her magic, or possibly use it. Sebastian Sallow was in his fifth year of Hogwarts. It started with exhaustion. The kind that settles into your bones - the kind that no amount of sleep or sugar quills can fix. Sebastian hid it with his grin, the sarcasm, the easy confidence. But by now, it was habit, not joy. Anne hadn't improved. Solomon barely spoke to him. So he did what he always did, he hid the bleeding parts. But underneath all of it was a hum, a low, constant desperation. He started digging into older magic, darker spells, things the books said he shouldn't touch. He touched them anyway. Sebastian was not going to sit back and watch his sister wither when he knew there were answers? No. There had to be answers, something, or someone, will show him. ☆✰⭐︎ A collision of two desperate souls, one already falling, the other just stepping into the dark. He needs her - not just because of her magic. She needs him - not just because he sees her clearly. Two people keeping secrets, both too clever for their own good, both drawn to eachother like gravity. Somewhere in their desperation, ambition, and obsession with saving Anne, it started to look like more than a friendship.
Hotel Transylvania - Zinged Fate by KaileyRose039
15 parts Complete Mature
Based off of hotel Transylvania. Romance. Short Story. Book 1. The Count is the sequel to this story. - I tense up as Maven spins me around to face him. His eyes glistening with salty tears, or what I presume to be. Johnny stays hunched behind me, his shoulders shaking as he holds back his own tears. I stare at Maven, my heart felt like it was being crushed at the site of his broken expression. "Is it true? Are you a human?" I look down and sigh, the grayish pale makeup on my hands smeared showing my natural skin. "Yes." He sucks in a sharp breath as he places his hands gently on mine pulling them up between our bodies. "I don't care, I still wanna be with you." he lets go of one hand and cups my face in the other. I couldn't help but smile softly as his eyes lit up, a gentle loving smile on his face as he rubs a finger on my cheek. I look past him towards Dracula's fear filled eyes. I felt my throat close up when I realized what I had to do. I pull Maven's hand away from my face and release our laced fingers stepping back. I avert my eyes and glare at the ground. "I-I don't want to be with you. Because you're a blood sucking monster. I hate monsters." I seethe out, all the anger in my tone directed at myself. My heart in my throat when feel Johnny grab my wrist pulling me away from Maven, his eyes widen just slightly as a single tear drips down his pale face. "You don't mean that." he utters, his voice shaking. "Goodbye Maven." I force a stern tone to my voice as I don't spare him a glance, Johnny pulling me out of the ballroom. When the doors slam shut behind me I let my emotions go. I let out a sob that wracked my body in full tremors. I fall into Johnny's side as he sighs and squeezes my shoulder walking us both out of the main entrance to the hotel. - Viewer Discretion Advised, how? because I wrote it.

This book is now available through Amazon and kindle! It was definitely a process getting it published, but my parents wanted me to accomplish this before they passed away, so no regrets. I wish I could work on it again, maybe add layers. It starts off a little heavy on the "romance", and then I think it finds its own groove, but overall I'm happy with the final product. I always appreciate it when people purchase it, but you are more than welcome to read it here. If you do buy one, please leave me a rating/comment. It's under my pen name Robin Ray on Amazon. I reposted it here for everyone to read, but I think it's also nice to read in paper book form. I buy one for myself every Christmas and end up gifting it:)I really felt inspired to write it, and as strange as it sounds, I felt that Alan Rickman helped guide me along the way. When I read it, it makes me feel less lonely, and the characters feel like real friends to me. I hope you also find something meaningful in my book. I've started on the sequel...Refuge, but it's been difficult to get back to it. Please leave me a vote or a note, I really enjoy those:) The devastating loss of his dear Lily had calloused him to the point of having very few of the gentler emotions. He had lost Lily to their arrogant classmate, James Potter, which utterly devastated him, only to find what utter devastation really meant when he lost her again, and finally, to death. He put those memories aside for now...he had relived them a lifetime's worth in his mind over the years. He turned his thoughts back to the present, and the woman who was presently in the very next room. He relented slightly as he felt a familiarity pass over him, and he groaned lightly, feeling as if this wound had been touched at its deepest core, then had been set to healing, and he drifted off into an exhausted sleep before he could put a finger on the source of the warm familiarity he had felt, and the magic that would not show itself until the proper time.
