Teagan Ruiz is a sophomore at Yale University, she loves her life in Connecticut. She's lived her whole life buried in books and getting good grades to make her parents happy. When he's not being praised on the ice he's at parties going from girl to girl. He says his sole focus is hockey, that he doesn't have the time for a relationship. He has only ever wanted hockey but what happens when he wants her?

Now, what happens when Teagan befriends the known Carter James? It was his idea to be friends and Teagan had no problem with that. She wasn't planning to be another notch on his bedpost. He shows her a path where she doesn't plan anything, but instead of her falling for him. It's him falling for her. Are his priorities still what they were?
