Every night I lay in bed, I like to imagine myself in another world. The world I most find myself in is Terra, the world of Arknights. I always find myself dreaming of the world, the powers, the amazing characters, and the beautiful locations found throughout. One night, I find myself dreaming of a Lungmen bar. I close my eyes to let my mind create a better picture. As I open my eyes, I find myself inside that very same bar. The scenario I thought of while in bed has come true, and it appears that my dreams have become my backstory. As I try to understand my situation a little bit better, a familiar rich tiger stumbles into the bar dead drunk, with her sights on me. NOTE: This is a rewrite of another story of mine of the same name with some major and minor things changed between the two. I will be focusing on the rewrite rather than the orginial story.

Ethereals. Monsters who resides in the Hollows. Perhaps they may have once been a normal living being or a machine that we're corrupted by Ether, or perhaps they were born from the materials the Hollows consumed. For generations, they have been responsible for countless deaths and tragedies for generations. And now Michael is one of them. Will that stop him from saving those trapped in the Hollows? Of course not.

There wasn't anything special about this man, this man who was nothing but a shell of his former shelf, this man, who could not even recall his own name. At least, that is what he believed. He was just another Fixer trying to survive, but he couldn't even muster up the courage to find a reason as to why he was trying to survive. Was a life that still sparked only for the sake of living really all that important? Sure, he was a Grade 3 Fixer, which was a bit of an accomplishment, but plenty had done it before him, and plenty would do it after him. Although, there was one question he wanted to be answered. Why did people constantly ask him where he got such powerful augmentations when he never got a single augmentation in his entire life?
