Summer is the epitome of everything that her name is not. In fact, the irony of her name originates from the deeply satirical and pessimistic ways of her mother, Rain Andrews, who was also left stuck with a hippie name that only works when one is genuinely a carefree, outgoing and happy person. Despite this unfortunate coincidence, Summer manages to fall into the life and problems of none other than Billie Joe Armstrong, her aspired music teacher and notorious has-been rockstar. When the two meet, and find that not only is one just as rude and careless as the other, but also that their strange situation involving Billie Joe's nephew brings them closer than they ever would have hoped for, how long is it until one cops out and leaves the other to suffer on their own? Romance, anyone?
