Valentina Cameron or, Val as everyone called her, is a 16 year old 'kook princess' who hated that nickname. She didn't like the whole pouge vs kook thing and thought it was dumb but her cousins, Sarah and Rafe, took it very seriously. It was stupid and she knew it but she was always with her cousins and they made sure she never talked to any 'dirty pouges' as they called them. but that changed when one of them was hired to help on her boat. JJ Maybank, an impulsive 16 year old boy. It's a classic forbidden love story between 2 teens who can't help but fall for each other.
