A perfect day. Dreaming with my eyes open. The air is fresh. The breeze is soft. The sunset is beautiful. But no. A perfect day, is when my dreams come true.

Normal day in the year 2021. The world is still plagued by COVID-19. Most places are still closed. Work isn't what it used to be and I started to take on a second job. A hundred million eyes adjusted to the dark all at once, all surprised to be awakened so soon. We ran through our checklists of limbs and senses, drawing ourselves out of our dreams piece by piece.
