so basically the backstory 

A wizard name Fresno the great was a powerful wizard but he wanted to store his powers somewhere since he was about to die. He made 12 different keys that representations all his powers on his journey he finds the boy that was destined to protect his powers. People heard about the keys and wanted to get there hands on them so they can use them for evil or for their own greed. Fresno heard people will come  so he built the house and hid them around the house. Only Francis can protect them after He is gone.All Rights Reserved

Skye Everson, the afformented chosen one protagonist, is one of these aura-havers, and she has ice powers. For a long time, she had idolized mages and wanted to hone her skills so she could become a mage herself. The problem? Aura magic is no longer legal. Fortunately for Skye, she gets kidnapped by a secret society that trains mages illegally, and may now have a chance to live out her dreams as an ice mage.
