An ancient dormant virus, dating from thousands of years ago of unknown origin, has awakened. It is said to have regenerative and strengthening effect on Neanderthals, at the cost of mental breakdown. But the effect varies on homo sapiens, it kills them and reanimates them. As extinction draws near, truth will be told.

It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us.
