When the unbearable Deetzes and teen son Levi buys the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice, a rambunctious spirit whose "help" quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydian. Would they be able to get their home back or would they do things they might regret? Also what would happen if the Maitland's daughter catches the interests of the Deetzes's only son? She lives in Utah with her new boyfriend Steve Raglan, who Beetlejuice has a bad feeling about..SHOCKER!!, and his adult daughter named Vanessa. He can't take the guy out on his own because of afterlife laws and what not, so he needs to make a deal with at least one breather to get rid of Steve and reclaim the constant runaway love of his life. Who will he encounter and work with while watching Lydia in the meantime??
