The light inside of Rey is strong, and has been since she overcame her grandfather, Emperor Palpatine. But since learning Rey's true family and watching someone she had really been falling for die, will the darkness overtake her?

Finn hurts inside, watching his closest friend fight the internal battle that she is. Rey doesn't want to confide in him or Poe, so he's left to figure out how to help on his own.

Poe is the best Resistance pilot in the galaxy. Recently, he hasn't been needed as the Sith have fallen. As he struggles to figure out who he is and who he loves, he feels it.

They all feel it.

Months have passed since the end of the war against Emperor Palpatine, since Rey lost her dyad in the Force, Ben Solo, and found a new home on the Lars's moisture farm on Tatooine. Ever since she settled in on the desert planet, Rey started training a new order of Jedi, teaching them about the balance of the Force, taking her mind off of what happened on Exegol until after her lessons, because that's when she tries to reach out in the Force to search for him. For Ben Solo. But even after months of trying to reach out to him day after day, Rey still fails, believing he doesn't want to see her. She is frustrated and desperate, and about to give up hope until she finds out about a place existing within the Force, a place existing between time and space: the world between worlds. Could Ben be stuck in the world between worlds? Could he have been alive after all? And can Rey bring him back? All characters and planets are from Lucasfilm/Disney. The fic contains the world between worlds, but I added my own little spin to it. The art is by meadowhayle.

Now, they were only a few inches apart, separated by the bars of the cell. "You're right," he smiled. Yet again, it didn't reach his eyes. Rey was right. He could barely stand to be someone he wasn't. But his past called for him. "I am a liar. A manipulative beast." He reached out and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "You would do well to stay away." She stepped back. She had felt a jolt of something when he touched her. Like she was being set on fire, but she loved it. "St- Stay away from me," she stuttered.
