The Paper Boy in the Photograph

A little girl met a young boy in a rather peculiar way. He accidentally ran into her while he was making deliveries on his bicycle. Before he could apologize, however, the little girl smiled and asked if she could take a picture of him.

That was almost ten years ago.

But Marigold Briggs never forgot the boy she met that day. Even though her twenty third birthday was coming up, she still thought of him from time to time. She held onto the picture she took of him.

James Harrison couldn't forget the little girl he ran into, either. He remembered her kind smile and her whimsical nature. His twenty second birthday had come and gone, his job at the newspapers was as steady as it could be, and he was just trying to make a living for himself and his mother.

Through one circumstance after another, the two young adults end up meeting again.
