The Lotus had lived a long life of war, and bloodshed. The former king's kingdom had long fallen, since his 'death'. He has spent his immortal days wandering the middle earth, accompanied by his drakaina. It had been that way for over 500 years. He and his drakiana alone just the way the two solitary beings liked it. That all changes when Mithindir comes to cash in a favor.
The Dragon Halfling had spent the beginning of its life in the snow covered mountains where no others could wander. She spent the first 300 years of her life that way, until the Lotus waltzed his way into her cave. And thus she spent the next 500 years traveling with The Lotus.
They had chosen to call the Grey Wizard by the name of the elves as they were more familiar with their culture. They were content until Mithindir comes for his favor. And so begins the journey of The Company of Thorin Oakenshield, the Lotus, and the drakaina disguised as a grumpy black cat perched on the shoulder of The Lotus.

I loved him but it was dangerous for me because mermaids can only love once. If my heart breaks it will turn to stone and stop beating, it will grow old and cold and it will stop and never start again. My body will live but it would be a shell of a mer. One day Legolas had come to see me by the river, he told me about a young she-elf named Tauriel. He told me about how he had feelings for her and how amazing she was. My heart hurt at those words. He had fallen for another. That day I told him I loved him and that I would never forget him. Then I grabbed his face with my hands and kissed him. When I kissed him a tear slid down my cheek, when it hit the ground it turned into a white pearl. I kissed him because I loved him but when I kissed him I took away every memory of him and myself. I let go and put my necklace around his neck. It was a green stone with markings on it. We called it our hearts we would give it to the ones we love. I looked at him one last time before jumping back into the water leaving the one I love.Complete

Noting the sour look across her face and the frown playing at her lips. "No, Mithrandir. There is a dragon in that mountain and unless you have an army, none will survive. I will not die fighting side by side with dwarves." Halidien growled, she would not run from a fight but walking to her death was not something she would do either. And what did she owe to the dwarves, to be running into a mountain with a dragon? "I wish you would have agreed. Halidien, you will go." Mithrandir insisted. "And why would I do that? The dwarves can handle their own problems." "You owe me, and once this quest is over that oath will be fulfilled." He explained, causing Halidien to pale. Hundreds of years ago, Mithrandir had saved her life and she had made an oath to him to help whenever he may need. But the idea of him forcing her to fulfill the oath for this, seemed ridiculous to her. A/N I do not own any character other than Halidien and maybe more if I choose to add more.
