Janice runs out of the house to find her younger brother Danny. They were the lucky ones who got out because when they looked back the dragon had torched the whole neighborhood. After the dragons invade the earth, Janice and Danny's lives are forever changed. Everything that they knew is gone including Danny's right eye. As they fight to survive, they meet other survivors with their own devastating stories. That is when their journey gets even more intense. After the dragon's blood falls into Janice's mouth, she starts having strange dreams. In these dreams, Janice is being sent messages that she has been chosen to save the world.
