"I can't believe you!" The anger and blood boiled inside me, "So you don't actually like me, and everything we had was fake?" I deadpanned. He just stared at the floor, shrugging, with a small smirk dancing on his lips. "It's not my fault you fell for me!" "You b-tch, you really are a player!" I took a sharp inhale, "Why didn't you tell me? I had to get it out of your drunk friend while you were too busy sucking your face off with some other idiot!" I spat at him trying to keep my cool, but obviously I couldn't. At this point, I could feel everyone's eyes on us. How did I end up like this? - - Leana Walker is left heartbroken after a terrible breakup with her previous boyfriend. In the new school year, she meets many new people. Junior year was off to a great start until she met the school's 'bad boy', that turned her life completely upside-down, literally. Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
