Tyra Carter had a hard life growing up. Not only was she getting bullied but, every day was struggle living with a drug addict mother and a dead beat father. One day after the deadly overdose of her mother, Tyra's life changes. With no family and her father nowhere to be found, she finds herself in the foster care system. 

Through her journey she meets 17 year old Markell Williams. Once they were assigned to the same home, Tyra felt like she found her soul mate. Maybe young love did exist. At the age of 17 Tyra decided to take a big step with Markell who was 18 by then. 

5 years later Tyra is now 22 with a lot of responsibilities. Now working as a business owner, of her own bakery, Sweets one customer will change her life forever.
