2032. The Order of Assassins had taken freedom too far and corrupted its ideals and beliefs. In a desperate move to secure 'freedom', to abolish the world's order and all it stood for, the disillusioned Mentors behind the global Assassin Order unleashed a pathogen created from the black Apple of Eden that turned man, woman and child into a mindless, feral creature. Monsters that served Those Who Came Before. This, they claimed, was true freedom; a world without order, a world without laws.
Jeremiah never knew of his Templar heritage, kept far from it by his sister and father. Nor had he known of the hidden Assassin-Templar war that had ravaged the world in the shadows for millennia. In the chaos of it all, he lost everything.
The remaining Templars were forced into isolation, as was the rest of the world's survivors. Little by little, Jeremiah felt the calling within his blood, leading him to the remaining Templar Order hidden below the ruins of Abstergo.

Pretty When You Cry (Olrox x Richter)
(Fair warning: this story will contain emotional and mental manipulation. Richter also suffers from heavy Stockholm Syndrome.) Richter Belmont's memory is fractured. It's has been ever since he stared into those hypnotic emerald eyes. His mother had been murdered right in front of him as a child, yet he feels no malice towards the vampire that did it. Not anymore, at least. Kept prisoner (or a permanent guest, he can't tell which), Richter aimlessly wanders the halls of Olrox's mansion like a ghost, blue eyes glazed over from years of confinement. He doesn't remember what his mother looks like, he doesn't even recall his own age. But he sees how Olrox looks at him: calm, some vague sense of satisfaction, perhaps even a bit of lust. Marked and bonded to the Aztec vampire, Richter prays for any other form of company. Olrox keeps Richter confined in his mansion, locks Richter in his room if he misbehaves. Belmont has everything he could possibly want, more clothing than he could ever wear, an endless supply of food, jewelry, shiny little trinkets. But he's still metaphorically in a cage. He can't go outside, he hasn't seen the sunlight in years. (This is mainly a Richter x Olrox fanfic, but will have small hits of Edouard x Richter sprinkled in.)

This novel is a story I've been structuring for over 5 years now, and after writing from scratch 4 times, I'm finally somewhat self-confident enough to publish it! THERE ARE NO FILLER CHAPTERS! Each chapter is mostly a combination of action and World Building/ Character development, and sometimes only one of the two! I pondered a lot wile constructing the story in order to avoid repetitions in the story, so each action scene and plot twist is unique in it's own way! Throughout history time wars have been fought for the sake of order both sides fought so hard for control order, The Templars now known as Abstergo fought for order but with a cost. Of controlling people believeing people to be stripped of free will. But the Assassins stride for order but of free will and of free decisions but over time the Assassins have been wiped out numbers dwindled to almost nothing. All but few exist and the Templars have a foot hold on the world......but one person can undone all of what the Templars have built could this person raise the Assassins brotherhood into a new era? Or will the Templars continue to rule for their endgame?
