Maven's life shifts towards another universe in an alternate dimension. Literally. Forced to face the consequences of her counterpart's actions, she asserts her innocence. Although no one believes her, she evades imprisonment but on the condition that she will serve as a superhero and be recognized for being a righteous person. 

Her bitter perspective on love is also challenged when she is faced with her electrifying ex-boyfriend and an icy boy. What's more, is that she is about to deal with formidable adversaries. Along the way, she realizes that maybe her plain ordinary life wasn't so bad after all.
