Hamartia (Royce)
Hamartia hah•mahr•tee•uh (n.) 1. A tragic or fatal flaw. Jacob Perez is eighteen years of age. He likes to smoke and get drunk occasionally, but most importantly; he likes to keep to himself. Yes, like all stories, Jacob will come out of his shell and he will speak to the friendly, optimistic seventeen year old Chresanto August. Yes, they will become somewhat friends, even though Jacob will deny it every chance he gets.... And yes, they will date. However, it's the little things that will soon get in between their relationship. It's Jacob's foggy background, and his way of thinking, and his secret eating disorder. See, it's just Jacob in general. The word to describe him is hamartia. He's a hamartia. He's a flaw. Chresanto hasn't come to terms with Jacob being a walking hamartia, but Jacob has, and he seems to be okay with it all. *Copyright: ForeverMindless247 2k14*Complete
Different. |royce
Jacob Perez has never been the type to fit neatly into a box. As a queer teenager, he's used to people assuming they already know who he is-soft, quiet, reserved and easy to push around. But Jacob is none of those things. He's outspoken, confident, and never afraid to stand his ground, even when doing so gets him into trouble. For most of his life, being a loner was something he learned to accept. But when his family relocates to a new state, Jacob suddenly finds himself thrown into an unfamiliar world where his reputation means nothing and making friends isn't as simple as he thought it would be. New friendships, unexpected rivalries, complicated feelings and plenty of trouble force Jacob to question whether being different is really such a bad thing-and whether the people around him are as different from him as he once believed. -mb au. royce & raylijahComplete

Beyond The Exterior
Before I could walk away completely, he grabbed my arm and pushed me against the wall. My wrists were caught in his grasp as he placed them above my head. I tried my best to avoid eye contact with him, knowing that if I didn't, I'd fall under his spell. My face held a blank stare not trying to give him the satisfaction that he actually had an affect on me. His cool breath spread across my face while his eyes roamed over my body. "Why the fuck do you make it so hard for someone to like you?"I kept my mouth closed irritated that he was actually talking this way to me."How hard is it to show some consideration for others?" "That's rich coming from a nigga who when he first met me, didn't even shake my hand. You're an arrogant, egotistical, asshole, who thinks the only place for a woman is on your penis." "At least I'm not a self centered, power hungry, bitch." "Fuck you."Before I realized what happened, his lips were on mine. The sweet taste of mint gum was being absorbed by my taste buds. Coming down from my high, I pushed him away. Both of us touched our bottom lips looking at each other in confusion.Complete

They'll keep us from seeing each other". "Not if they don't find out. We'll keep it to ourselves. Just you and me. Nothing can go wrong, right?" "Right". It hurt to know that we were both wrong.Complete
