Weird... that's one word. A rather rude one, but it was the right one to describe me. Or delusional, considering I want to be a hero, but my quirk is so useless. Izuku had a very... dark mindset. When he first met his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo, he started dragging him into his schemes. Inko didn't mind much, brushing it off as the creative mind of a young boy. She was a supportive mother, so she let him do a lot of things other kids couldn't- -No, he wasn't allowed to do drugs, get your mind outa the gutter. Hell, at the crisp age of 10 he was allowed to go outside at night, alone. All he needed was his phone, his location on, and to come back before 9:30. One night, she was in his room, helping him clean it, when she found a rat corpse he put in a jar. She screamed so loud the neighbors came to check on the two. Izuku said it was his special little friend he found on a walk, so she let him keep it. That's most likely one of the reasons he's being bullied. "Oi, Deku. Whatcha thinking about this time? Do you wanna hit the teacher and put his kinda in a jar?" Katsuki taunted. Izuku only looked up and him, rolling his eyes. "Don't be silly," he started, making Katsuki's underling heart race. "His lungs would be too big to fit in a jar. I'd need a larger container, like a-" "You're so fuckin weird!"

A student with no self confidence or self esteem, a student who has asked himself if he deserved to live because of Bakugo. As Kirishima walked out of the school thinking it was just another kid he'd harassed he saw something falling above him. He wanted to avenge this kid and himself. He wanted to murder Bakugo Katsuki. Midoriya Izuku was ambitious. He always pushed until he fell. He never gave up, not once did he fall and stay down. Not even when his idol told him that his dream was illogical--that in reality he will only get in the way. So he made a set of recordings and set up an anonymous channel. He approached many people and asked them variants of the same question: "Can a quirkless person become a hero?" No matter the answer though, he was broken inside. His dreams and hopes were shattered a long time ago. But he isn't ready to take a swan dive just yet. He wants to meet one person who will tell him that he is not useless. That he can be a hero. And after that moment, he will decide if he's ready to take a swan dive off the roof of a building or not. Some of the chapters will be quite triggering. I will put a warning beside each chapter title that includes detailed descriptions of triggering topics. The characters do not belong to me, only the plot. Characters belong to the anime Boku No Hero Acadamia and it's creator. I did the drawing up at the top, it's not the full image though.

Izuku Midoriya formerly izuku yagi had a good life up until he was diagnosed quirkless. He was neglected and beaten by his own (all might and magnetic) family and (1A) friends. Over the years izuku learn how to defend himself in private, read comics from before quirks were around and learning about heroes quirks. One day, while izuku is running away from his tormentors, he runs into the forest to lose them. After he does he realizes he's lost and then he sees a meteor coming towards him. After it crashes izuku feels like it's calling to him, he goes near it and almost in an instant he feels a sudden surge of power and strength he never felt before. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.
