For a while, my only interactions with the gods had been brief chance encounters. That changed a few months ago. It was the beginning of a hot summer, I was twenty-two, and I had already given up on love.

So when Artemis invited me in her girl gang, its only rule being to take a vow of celibacy - no boyfriend, no husband, forever - I said yes.

Prompt: "You don't trust your dating choices...simply because you've gotten involved with several fools in a row, and now you are taking a break - maybe a permanent one. What happens when you encounter someone in the most unexpected place you thought love never existed?"

Unlikely Heroes

126 parts Complete Mature

Humans have forgotten, or are just ignorant. Perhaps they just moved on from the past. That's unfortunately not the case for most Demigods. Children of mortals and Gods. Zeus, Poseidon, to a lesser extent Hades, and other Olympian Gods... most Gods have laid with mortals. While some Demigods are claimed, other are not. In camp Half-Blood they train and live to survive the many danger of being a Demigod/Half-Blood. ~ I do not own Percy Jackson or it's story. Only my own ideas and characters. ~ Note: I have not read the books or seen all the movies. I do know of the general story line, which I will follow. This story will most likely differ in many specific dialogue or some quirks of the characters. I will try to stay true to them, but a few things may differ. Mature content, read at your own discretion.
