Like salt in the snow I melted when he faded away,
it felt like I was always the bird of prey.
Hiding, running, screaming, trying to find my way,
but the cuts grew deeper.
He was the one holding the knife,
but all I asked for was eternal life.
He stole my soul that night.
Before I took my last breath I remember seeing the stars twinkle, the reflection of the moon from the knife, the emotionless snow pressed up against my body then it happened. Blood was everywhere that's when I knew, he wasn't what I thoughts was.
