If you don't find one after 72 hours of your previous guardians death, you are evicted. Left on the Outside to fend for yourself. 9/10 evicted children either get killed or die from hunger.
But Violette's not going down without a fight. She is determined to find out the truth about her father's disappearance and keep her brother safe and hidden until her 18th birthday when she can be his legal guardian.

Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted? What would happen to the women who went to Uvis would they be treated well? Was it just a way to reduce the Earth's population so it was easier to take over?
