Cayde is trying to convince her and the others different. He sees good in her. Uldren Sov hated her guts but gradually came to like her. He's trying to convince himself it's nothing. The Guardian of the North (Robb Stark) Completed
All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost, The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring, Renewed shall be the blade that was once broken, The crownless again shall be king. The guardians are an ancient race that once ruled over Westeros. They were made mainly to protect, keep the peace and later on to defeat the white walkers that posed a huge threat to their country. When the Targaryens had won the Iron Throne, the tables turned on the guardians as all of them were wiped out in a matter of months. Elena Snow always thought that she was the only guardian left. It was when Ned Stark had taken her in to protect his family for the rest of her life that she found out that she was kept alive for a reason, that reason being to protect Robb Stark from the guardian they called the Dark One. So I basically wrote this book because I hate it that Robb died. I decided to add a complete new storyline to it but to also follow the original plotline. Btw, this is somewhat multifandom... Like there are characters such as Steven and Sam, Louis etc. that are from a lot of other fandoms. So expect a lot of references! I do not own the characters in this book, exept for Elena Snow (and a whole lot of others tbh, mainly the guardians). All the rights go to George R. R. The Last Flame
Christian looked down from the creature looming before him at the gun in his holster. Engraved on its side were the words, "Until the last flame dies and all words have been spoken" "It's time to draw guardian, one last time." The hunter looked up at his ghost then looked back down again, "Ya know, I always thought it was called 'The Last Word' because it ensured the wielder he'd get it, but I think I understand now... It's my Last Word." And with that, he put his hand on his holster and stared death in the face, without fear or hesitation. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
