Adeelah Rabi'u would do anything to live her life peacefully. Peace was worth every struggle and hassle. At twenty one, she had nothing interesting in her life but love for her father and longing for her dead mother. Growing up with her step mothers wasn't so bad because her father was always there. But then they say some things are too good to be true. She never believed it till when her father's secret went spilling on her wedding day. A wedding to remember, no, a canceled wedding to forever remember! Her life crashed, her biggest solid wall fell, and she's left to herself as she tried to heal from the series of heartbreaks she received about her family. Her father was the root of it all. Her father, her destruction. Her chauffeur, her rescuer! Too good to be true? He also had a story! And he wasn't who he appeared to be, when Adeelah found that, would there be heartbreaks too or would it rather be heartmends?

My Storm

As many of you requested, here's the story of Shlok and his journey after the divorce. Shlok is a businessman with his own company, but he's no stranger to heartbreak-he's been through a divorce and is still haunted by his past. This story is somewhat of an extended part of His Brother's Wife. The characters from that story appear here as well. If you'd like to know more about Shlok and his past, you can read His Brother's Wife first and then come back to this. But if not, feel free to read this story as a standalone. ##Update schedule There is no fixed schedule, but I will try to update once a week.
