"Aliyah" My name kept on echoing in my head as I ran. I continued to run with no where in mind. I just wanted to run and run. I ran till my legs began to shake. I was already gasping for breathe when I stopped running. I looked back but all I saw was bush. The sun was already going down and I still had no where to go. I wanted to turn back but images of their corpse flashed through my mind....no..no...no way. I continued to run but my legs failed me as I landed on the ground with a thud and I felt the pain rush through my body. Pain Pain Pain...not just ordinary pain but emotional pain and it was unbearable for a ten year old girl. I could not take it any longer as I let my body fall into the darkness that was hovering just below me.

"Im sorry, shes no more." The doctor said with sadness in his voice. I felt the life drain out of me at that moment. She left me. Left me in this world. It was bound to happen but i didnt expect it that soon. Now, as i sit on the floor, trying to convince myself that she was gone to Allah forever, never returning back to me, to the place she called home. I heard the doctors yelling my name trying to tell me that I'd be alright soon. But oh Allah, how would they know about the moments we spent together? How would these doctors know that i saw her as my phantom of delight.
