I wrote the poems to show people they aren't alone. When facing insecurities a lot of times your friends and family give you positive and good advice, but sometimes you just need to go through the emotions. To let your pain actually exist and to be able to learn from it. I wanted people to know that they aren't alone in this world. Especially, when the not so positive thoughts are surfaced and are being witnessed through your eyes. Not every day is going to be a ray of sunshine and that's okay. And I hope that these poems show that it's okay to be dark sometimes.

I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger. My life has changed and so have I. I'm ready to take that stand.
