Hello, I wanted to enter this contest because I thought I would have a good idea for a story. And hopefully, you like it. I tried my best.
It is the story of a young African American girl, who recently moved to Los Angeles. She is trying to find herself, as she attends her new highschool. She wishes to be a singer, or a YouTuber, just an influencer ..that's all she dreams. But she doubts herself, and her family believes she should become a doctor. She doesn't think she can be what she wants..especially because of her skin color. And she tries to build and fulfill her self-image.
