Pinky Promise

Aliana Marisol Sanchez and her siblings lived a very dangerous life. Filled with drugs, money, and violence. Her dad was the right hand to the King of the Mexican Cartel, Christopher De Valle. They had been childhood best friends and knew that they could trust each other with anything.

Growing up Aliana had 2 best friends. Her twin sister, Alana, and Enrique Luis De Valle, the crowned Prince of the Mexican Cartel himself. They did normal kid things like go to high school and sneak out of the house, but they also learned how to shoot guns and hack into bank accounts. They also knew that once they turned 18, life would change forever.

Enrique was trained to take over the crown and lead the Cartel all while Aliana was being taught that she needed to focus on education and getting far from the Cartel. They knew that one day the other one wouldn't be their side, but they made a promise to each other.

It's been 4 years since that promise was made and things have changed. Aliana and Enrique haven't seen each other since her grand opening for her fashion line but when her sister Alana is confronted by Enrique's rival, they are forced to see each other.

How will they handle this?

"Enrique, promise me?" questioned Aliana. This was that conversation I didn't want to have with her.

Don't do it.

"Anything." I reply.

I did it.

I looked over at her, she was looking up at the stars. She looked like she was going to cry any second now, but she fought the urge. She sighed and looked over at me.

"Promise me that no matter what happens, we will always be best friends."

Oh Aliana, I will always be your best friend. No matter if I'm the king or not. I was yours first.
