Meet Jana Cruz. She's 17, lives in New York City, has super rich parents, goes to a prestigious high school, has awesome friends and loves to have fun. No, she's not dumb. She's actually really smart and witty. One thing's for sure though, you don't want to mess with her.
Her life's turned upside down when her mom suddenly to tell them they are moving to L.A. the day before.

She hates it. But she has to endure it and brace herself for the horrors of being the new kid at Ashgroove Academy. Things don't turn out as bad as she expects when she discovers that she's not alone and becomes friends with the coolest kids at school.

Enter Ashley Dames. She's Jana's best friend. Or was when she discovered that Jana's family may be involved in her father's arrest as they happened to move just when her life starts to fall apart.

Her mom couldn't handle it and decides to send her to stay with her cousin in L.A. while they wait for everything to blow over. With all the half-truths she's been told she starts to despise her best friend.

As fate would have it, they both end up at Ashgroove Academy.

Jana's happy to see her best friend again sadly Ashley doesn't feel the same way and is hellbent on ruining Jana to get justice for her dad.
