Team Stax have been collecting Kairu to become strong enough to defeat Lokar, become all-powerful Redakai and save the world.
However, the universe is about to change.
For Kairu isn't the only energy spiralling Earth anymore.
Another type has begun arising. One that has been on Earth far longer. However, the Shadow Kairu has begun to twist it, warp it and the reaction is beginning to cause an imbalance.
Redakai Masters fear that certain deities may emerge to reset the universe, but not all of these beings are good- since some of them may use that imbalance to wipe out, then recreate the world as tailored to their needs and likings.
Team Stax must now find a way to stop this Energy War and collect all the Shadow Kairu before its too late. Luckily, Master Quantus has aided them by sending over one of his brighter students. But can she help them? Is she really to be trusted? Who knows?
