Medusa is a servant to the gods, picked to obey commands and expected to put her life aside when summoned by the Olympians. Only, the quests are never as noble and rewarding as heroes of legend. She may be in the presence of gods, but as a pet wild cat bred to run errands and slay monsters with no public recognition.

The werecats are secret myths that were meant to do the dirty work of the gods, leaving no time for Medusa to invest in her personal life. Or gather some closure on the loose ends of what had happened to her when she was new to the gig.

Who knew that being bitten would throw lifetimes of responsibilities on a person, let alone a child?

Now she is close to being a full-grown woman, and after working hard in rebranding the werepanther name she feels like she has done enough for the gods to start making certain demands.

The next meeting Medusa has with the great goddesses, she will have prepared a daring and risky proposition.

She will demand a vacation.
