He froze.
It was the first time Steve had ever said that to him. Love is such a strong word, but it was probably the most accurate description of what he felt for Steve.
"You don't have to say it back if you don't want to."
"I... I love you too Steve." The words rolled off his tongue as if he was so used to saying it and this wasn't the first time. Sure, he said he said those words to other people, but this was Steve. Steve is different from all his lovers. He really did love Steve.

Ana Barton, was the most purest souls Thor had ever encountered. She was strong willed, smart, brave and compassionate. Though he had only known her a few days, during the battle with Loki, he found that she had completely entranced him. Ana didn't know who she was before Clint had found her and saved her. She idolised him, and followed in his footsteps, becoming an agent of SHIELD. Her life takes a complete turn, when she finds herself taken after the battle. ***** When he had returned to Midgard, Earth a few years later, with a reformed Loki, he finds that she had been missing and presumed dead almost as long as he had been gone. When the Avengers hit a Hydra base, to get back the scepter, they come across a room, where someone is bound, from the ceiling. Rescuing the fraile figure, they return to the jet victorious, only to find their rescue, is none other than Ana. She was barely conscious, and from clear signs, she was not there willingly. Taking her back to the tower, they try to help her, only to find that she has no memory of them, and now holding her own power. Thor wants nothing more than to destroy every single person who had hurt her, his need to protect her burning within him. The only comfort she finds is in his brother and the metal armed soldier, needing them both to protect her. ***** Being in a new place, surrounded by so many people, she felt overwhelmed, terrified that they would hurt her like the others. She feels her wrists are now free, and that power within her, was now accessible again. It almost seemed like a miracle that he used the phone he gave him for emergencies, he believed that the man wanted to make things better between them, only to have found out when he touched the soil of New York he once walked on, that he was betrayed by said man. Steve loved Tony with all of his heart, but said genius betrayed him, got him locked up in the Raft prison, making him suffer, waiting out the days until he accepted death. But maybe, just maybe there was a bigger reason for what Tony did. But the real question is, can their relationship be fixed, or is it destined to fail. It's a big contrast to the dark brown, shoulder length hair on his head. While his body is blurry behind the foggy glass, I can tell that he's missing his left arm. The metal one. I look at his face curiously and find it to be peaceful. As most everyone's is during sleep. He has a strong jaw covered in dark stubble and uneven lips, the bottom is thicker than the top. Speaking of thick, by the size of the container I can tell he is. At least his arm and legs anyway. A nine point nine. And that's when he's frozen. "Well.
