Well, in this story, this teacher happens to be a pretty young woman of twenty-five, who Elvis instantly starts crushing on in his senior year of high school. Miss Abigail Thatcher didn't plan on teaching at a high school, but she figured that teaching people relatively close to her age would help her connect to them more. There's a problem with teaching boys of this age, though... feelings could rage. And not just on their end. There is this shy, handsome young man with a unique name eyeing Abigail during every music class with those blue eyes of his, and she can't shake off what those long stares make her feel. Despite his love of music, he's failing the class, so Abigail tries to help him. She gets involved in his life... a little too intimately. She sees that he has some talent, mainly in guitar playing, but his singing... well, she has to be honest with him, but she's afraid that she crushed his dreams while doing so. At least it could shut down whatever "thing" that's going on with them.

The above story catches the attention of a certain star who visits the hospital as to boost moral for the younger patients on the pediatric floor and to run a charity. Annabelle is ecstatic to meet her star crush Elvis Presley, a young man of twenty-one. Elvis is touched by her story and encourages her to be what she wants to be, regardless of what people say. That's how he got to where he is. He guiltily wants to go to the hospital just to talk with her and be close to her. He's drawn to her, this pretty girl who can't walk. And... he starts falling for her. Fast.
