Katheryn Rivers leaves the country after her peaceful life in Gearhart, Oregon is destroyed by a video of her sexual assault is leaked to the whole town. She finds herself in Lagos, Nigeria where she lives with her aunt and goes to a new school with students curious on how she got there. Her only focus is to survive for as long as possible but God has other plans which includes Obinna and the characters she meets along the line as she takes steps towards healing and redefining her purpose in life.
