''Oh no hug for me then?'' Katie said narrowing her eyes at Danny but giving him a cheeky grin as he hugged Nicky and Becca and fist bumped Mitchels hand before walking over to her. Before Katie new what was happening the small of her back hit the corner of the pool table, Danny pushed himself up against her getting as close as possible placing his lips on hers. He leaned back smiling at Katie. ''Better than just a hug?'' ''Tons.'' Katie replied with a smirk playing on her lips. --- Okay I thought I would jazz up my blurb with a bit of heat :) you will find this part of the story further on in my book :) It's about how Katie deals with her heartbreak and whether she will ever know the truth behind the front that Josh puts up. please don't judge my book by what I've written here, It's supposed to be something you can relate to whether it be your own unfinished business with a guy or dealing with similar problems with friends. I hope you like it :) xx

Lauren Jules, her twin sister Miranda, and their best friend Jake all grew up together in their own little world. Just three kids having the time of their lives. And then came the summer that changed everything. It was the summer Lauren fell in love with her best friend. It was the summer her family broke apart and she grew up. It was the summer Jake left. Now five years later, Jake is moving back and Lauren is determined to keep her guard up against the boy who stole her heart years ago. But Lauren's not the only one with something to hide, Jake seems to be fighting some demons of his own. His past has changed him from the happy-go-lucky kid he was, to a reckless guy with a smirk for a smile. And he's driving Lauren insane. ****** Excerpt from That Summer "Well I'm surprised," he drawled huskily, playing with a strand of my hair. "You acted like a natural last night." Oh. My. God. What did that even mean? He chuckled at my deer-in-headlights expression. There was no way I would not remember losing my virginity to Jake. Hell, I'd memorize every second of it. "What do you mean?" I asked slowly, my stomach doing somersaults. Please tell me I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion. Pretty please. "Well," he started, a gleam in his eyes. "First, you grabbed the blanket and ripped it right off of me." I blinked at him, a horrified expression on my face. I slapped his hand away from my hair and turned around. Yup, there it was. Lying on the floor, along with my dignity. He continued solemnly. "And then, you climbed up on top of me." Could you die from your face overheating? I waited for my embarrassment to be complete as he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. "Yeah, that's about it." That's it? THAT'S IT? So I hadn't completely thrown myself at him. Just a tad. And the prize for the unluckiest luckiest horndog of the year goes to Lauren Can't Keep Her Hands To Herself Jules. I grabbed the pillow and smacked him over the head with it. Hard.
