After being betrayed and left for dead in the woods, Prince Roman meets a young man named Virgil, who is trapped in those woods by a terrible curse. They now must help each other save the kingdom, themselves, and the ones they love.

tis my first time publishing fanfic, so go easy on me lol. constructive criticism is welcome. The characters Virgil, Roman, Patton, Logan, and Janus belong to Thomas Sanders, others are my own.
I'll try to put trigger warnings at the beginning of the chapters but I'll probably miss stuff, let me know if I do.

The Borrower and the Fairy Prince
*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. The Dark Forest
*Completed* With their kingdom is falling apart and in debt, Prince Roman and Prince Remus head out to the Dark Forest with hope that they will find the Heart of Life. With the Heart, they would be able to save their kingdoms crops and pull the kingdom out of the dark days. However, within a few days of traveling through the forest, they are attacked and lost in the forest, with only a servant and knight for company. Mal, a dragon witch, lives in the forest with her two sons, Janus and Virgil. Though the three are powerful, Mal made enemies with the fae who have ever since been trying to kidnap Janus for revenge. Luckily, or maybe unfortunately, they ignore Virgil for the most part since he was adopted. When they cross paths with the humans, things get a bit... messy. Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff. Boy x Boy. If you don't like this kinda stuff then don't read it. Only rated mature for foul language, a lot of cursing, blood, gore, violence, mentions of self harm, abuse, and other deep topics. If this makes you uncomfortable or triggers you then don't read it! Virgil is a poor peasant under the curse of an evil warlock who only goes by the name Deceit. Roman, the young and popular dashing king is lonely and is in search of a queen or king. The two bump into each other on accident and worlds collide between the two. Roman suddenly feels like he has company and Virgil has a new feeling he can't describe. When Virgil's master finds out it only brings hell for the star-cross lovers with a curse and a whole lot of trouble standing in the way between the two.
