Missy Mayfield has it all: the nuclear family, the perfect boyfriend, and a beautiful best friend. She's the lead in her dance company's competition dances, and her solos always win countless awards.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, her cousin Sawyer Mayfield recently moved in with Missy and her parents. After she goes missing, it's a surprise to Sawyer when he receives text messages from his own phone number containing private information about himself. Even more surprisingly, four other people important to Missy get them, too.
