Melissa Evenson is new. Her whole life she has been home schooled by the best tutors money could buy. Fourteen years later, her Father decides that she isn't properly socialized. So, he sends her to a boarding school where she will constantly be surrounded by people her own age. Surely that will turn her into a social butterfly, right?
Raven Thorn is not new. He has been going to Cliffside Academy since he was five. What is new is that he is going alone. In the past years, he had always faced each year with his brother. But, a messy divorce had left his brother halfway across the country with his dad. Surely his brother didn't mean to abandon him, right?
