Sarah's world is turned upside down as she finds out her sister has been taken into hospital and placed in a coma. Everyone ignores her as she tries to finds answers. As she is trying to talk to her mother about it her sister runs into the hospital crying. Sarah only has one sister, so who is in the coma?
Hi all :) this is my short story that I entered into the common wealth writing contest. I didn't get short listed but oh well. I still think it's a pretty good short story so here you go.

Carry on living without parents is already hard for them. Angeline and Sarah have been living under a happy masks seeing the other's happiness. Mostly Sarah did. Keeping the biggest lie and secret from Angeline makes her life feels uneasy. Very heart-aching secret. No other than the secret of their parents death. It's not just an accident, but surely it was planned, well-planned plan. However, Sarah can't keep the secret forever as The Death greet her . Angeline, a sister who's been living with 'happy world' created by Sarah broke into tears. She can't handle the secret all alone.Moreover the eagerness to find out also coming into her mind. Making her in dilemma. Mysterious man kept following her day after day after the historic day. Who is the man? Thirteen Points of Light
After a night on the town, Sarah wakes up to a miserable hangover. But it's nothing compared to what comes next. After attempting to light a cigarette, she feels that something isn't quite right. Soon she'll discover that everything is very wrong. My entry in the Open Novella Contest III, Feb 2020. April 28. Just got the news that Thirteen Points has made it through the second round. Now I have to finish by May 5th. I'm not as far along as I had hoped at this point, but I'm sure I can make it. May 4th. 12:10 am. Finished. Submitted. Good night. May 20th. Well, 13 Points made the Long List. I have no idea how many original entries there were but about 940 made the first cut. There's 150 on the Long List. Not bad for my first time out. Now we'll wait and see how we fare on the Short List. May 30th. Well, Sarah and company didn't make the Short List. I can't say I'm disappointed though.
