Mature
A young woman from earth is abducted by a cruel race of aliens. She is introduced to the slavery training program - where she works day and night and if she missteps, she could be punished horribly. The man responsible for training her intentionally tells her that he finds her beautiful, which will fetch a good price at market.
She manages to escape their grasp, but is then left with an even bigger problem. Either she will be recaptured and sold as a slave or she will die in space. She has no idea where she is, and she has no idea how to operate the technology. When she manages to find somewhere to land, she can only hope that they are nicer than the aliens that abducted her. Though the abductors treat those who conform to a certain standard better, she is too beautiful and too out-spoken for that.
Little does she know that she has gotten pulled into intergalactic politics, and her one act of defiance sends a ripple across the galaxy.

When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.

***Currently, rewriting this novel, formerly titled "The Privilege"*** In a distant galaxy, an advanced and powerful alien race known as the Azuli face a dire crisis: a biological war has left all their women dead or infertile, threatening their species with extinction. In a desperate bid for survival, they turn to the genetically similar humans of Earth. After making a covert treaty with the United Nations, the Azuli offer their advanced technology in exchange for Earth's women. Unbeknownst to the world, a secret selection process begins and numerous women are abducted and transported to the alien planet. Among them, investigative journalist, Elizabeth Crane. She is paired up with Commander Rhys Vorian, a fierce and loyal warrior who lost his mother in the war. Together they must navigate their new alien relationship, uncover hidden agendas, make unexpected choices amidst political intrigue and cultural clashes. Elizabeth must decide if she can trust Rhys and embrace a future she never imagined or escape and return to Earth and expose the truth for all to see. In a race against time, will love blossom in the stars or will the shadow of a war and mistrust doom them all?
