The outbreak happened three years prior, and Lita North has survived since then on her own. The outbreak caused dead people to rise up and eat people. Whatever is left becomes a zombie. The world is soon ravaged by the dead and all hope seems lost. Survivors die and that makes more monsters. In the midst of all this, Lita has a secret so big, it could get people killed. Not everyone, but a lot more will die than live and don't we all deserve to live, no matter the situation? No matter the mistakes we've made?
Lita wishes things were different and maybe in a different life, they would be. Maybe, in a different life, people wouldn't kill to have their hands on her.
Maybe, she wouldn't be forced to tear people apart.
Things don't turn out the way we all hope though and now this girl is going to have to deal with her destiny that seems to be written in the stars. Unless, she finds another way, which is going to bring up dark plans her enemies have in store for her, but a lot quicker.

-This is only a rough draft of my story I am currently working on the final draft so it will be much different in the final draft- After the events of the toxic woman, Gloria Ramirez, more and more people became "toxic", but as time went on and the earth began to fail due to global warming and pollution, the toxic virus began to change as well. No one really knows when it happened, but around the age of 25 and no later than 35, people began to become toxic, as if it was embedded into the entire human race's genetics. Some say this was caused by mass radiation poisoning, others say this is God's way of punishing us for our sins, but one thing we do know is that when you do become toxic, you don't just become sick and die, you become a zombie. This story follows six young adults as they discover some scary truths about themselves, and have to learn to survive on their own stuck in an abandoned city full of the one thing that can't die, because it already is dead. -This is a story I originally wrote for my English class, where we wrote stories based on real events.
