Running from her past, and the king's guards, Laverna ends up in the hands of Torin, Lord of Thieves. As his right hand, Laverna designs a new identity while perfecting her craft and participating in heists she only dreamed of. As Laverna makes a name for herself as a thief, she hears legends of Kaine, a cold hearted steel eyed man who's supposedly the best thief who ever lived, even better than Torin. Determined to prove herself, Laverna sets off to find Kaine. On her journey, she discovers terrifying threats to herself and her homeland, Kaetayl, and a prophecy about how to defeat these threats.
