Hamilton John Laurens x genderbent o/c reader

It's the year 1810 as Hercules Mulligan, Aaron Burr, and Marquises de Lafayette were met by a mysterious man who claimed that he could bring their friends, John Laurens and Alexander Hamilton, back to life with magic. Though after he does it, the 5 men were put through a mysterious portal to see that they not only have been taken back to the time from when they first met in 1776, but that they see female versions of themselves re-living the same story that they have gone through themselves, once before while being joined by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. But what would happen if John Laurens was able to fall in love with his own genderbent counterpart? Would he be able to keep her safe from the fate he suffered from his world? Or would she go through the same thing if he were to be too late?
