Wendy rejected staying in Neverland because she couldn't help but think about her mother who waited for them to return and the idea of growing old with the one she loved. That all changed once she wasn't able to become a dignified lady like her mother, always wanting to use her imagination instead of shutting it away. Or when her father dreams of the money he'll get from marrying her off into an another rich family with connections he'd utilize. Her dreams slowly died and she became a shell of the bright eyed girl she once was. The idea of being stuck in this dreadful world was a burden too much to bare, it is appeasing for other people but after she had known what true freedom was like, it could never compete. Wendy may not believe in much anymore but there is one thing she does believe. She believe that it was such a stupid decision to leave the wonderful place called Neverland. All she wants is to go back home. ⚠️Contains topics of Depression and Self-Harm⚠️ Ps: this is a story about the 1953 version not the Once Upon a Time (So he's not rumples dad and he is not a demon) P.P.S: this was my first story so it wasn't very good but it was a start P.P.S.S: The character art is by Wistful on the cover
