After a short-lived retirement, Nick Fury recruits her for the Avengers Initiative after the god of mischief himself threatens New York. She meets people who have her back till the end of the line, and villains who have enough anger to destroy the world. And possibly the universe. On the grand adventure of her insane life, she learns things about herself she never thought possible. Steve Rogers has always been there for her, through the thick and thin. Cora tried to pretend she didn't feel the way she did for him, but after all they'd been through together, how could she not?

The wyvern, also known as Lennox Barton. An agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. but goes as an undercover agent at Hydra. Much like her brother Clint Barton (hawk-eye) she has incredible aim but instead of a bow and arrow she can control fire in her hands. She wasn't born with it, hydra had exposed her to extreme radiation in her early twenties two years after she became an undercover agent. Before that she was a trained assasin. Percy hasn't been the same since the Giant War. He has been changed, and it's not for the better. When he stumbles into the Avengers' arms, they have trouble getting along and sharing their pain. However, they know Percy is not well and will do anything to help him. This story deals with heavy topics and Percy does not just get over them within the first few chapters and skips happily into the sunset with the Avengers. This deals with pain and hardships. This can be very cliche at first. But please read at least ten chapters before deciding. It gets better as it goes, just like any book.
