Maximo Reyes has rejected multiple arranged marriages proposed by his parents in favor of his philandering lifestyle and career in the art field. However, everything changes when his parents use his passion against him. They give him an ultimatum: accept the marriage and retain his freedom, or have his passion completely destroyed. Aware of the immense power his parents wield, Maximo has no choice but to accept the proposal.

A week before the wedding ceremony, Maximo decides to fly to London to make the most of his remaining days as a bachelor. His parents only approve the plan if Maximo allows them to send security to ensure he returns before the big day and doesn't ruin the moment. Maximo reluctantly agrees, just to get away. While there, he encounters William Dizon, a Filipino street painter and performer who immerses himself in his art.

Maximo has always been as straight as an arrow and never imagined falling in love with a man. But from the moment his eyes meet William's, he finds himself willing to break free from his own expectations of masculinity and claim the stunning painter as his own.
