"I will find you, no matter where you go." She laughed when she heard him muttering those simple yet meaningful words. His eyes held the intensity of the sentence. They looked pure and innocent.
"What if I get lost in a sea of people? Will you be able to find me then?" He smiled at her question. Tousling her hair, he loved the feeling of those silky curls against his roughen palms.
"Yes." His whisper was so gentle that it made her body unknowingly lean on his broad shoulders. Just like his words, they gave her a sense of reliance.
"How? My hair color isn't bright. Neither I am tall. I don't stand out in a crowd. I am the type who gets mixed in them. Then how?" Pulling herself away from his warmth, she looked at him with her blue orbs.
"Don't you get it? My eyes are meant to find yours." Her heart skipped a bit when the look in his face made her smile.
"But what if I don't want to be found? What if I want to be lost?" She asked him. Her eyes held mischievousness while her face had a glow.
"If you run away because of me, then I will let you go. But if you are running away from me, then I will hold you close." He answered with a grin. She didn't get how his sentences were different. They appeared the same to her. But chose to shrug it away cause like her question, his answer too was playful. That's what she thought.
She was a bright student in her class. Heck! She was one of the top students in the whole university. And still, she didn't know that one should never come up with their own assumptions. That too a misleading one.
