Days after the accident in Duncan's castle, the flux continues to grow and expand throughout the world. Duncan and Kim were lucky enough to escape with their lives using Duncan's spaceship. Now isolated and alone, Kim is unconscious, and Duncan continues to make contact with Lewis and everyone else.  But as time continues, the flux continues to grow...Will Duncan be able to find his friends and solve the problem with the flux, or is this one problem that a scientist like him can't solve....
