In the chaos, however, the remaining Guardians in Western Euradon are fighting their own battles, refusing to take sides if it means shedding people's blood in the place of monsters' blood. There is one person whose ascension to Chardan's throne will hopefully stop the wars, but there is also the risk that the violence will only worsen. It is a risk that must be taken, for the sake of everyone.
